Report workshop “Winning tenders”

“Winning beneficial Public and Corporate Tenders within the aerospace & airport industry”  was the theme of the workshop organised by NAG in cooperation with Unified International and Brackmann Lawyers on Thursday November 4th at Technology Park Ypenburg (TPY). A very lively and interactive workshop where NAG members were informed on the legal frameworks for the Public Procurement Act and relevant Jurisprudence. It was also a splendid opportunity to share experience from both a market and Government perspective. Alexander Klein Hofmeijer of Brackmann Lawyers put the emphasis on the legal part of the tendering process. Michel van Ierland, managing partner of Unified International shared his thoughts how to make a winning proposition. Anke Matijssen, Division Director Airports Deerns and board member of  NAG shared her  experience and observations with tenders in the Airport Development. Both Alexander, Michel and Anke accompanied there presentations with ample and appealing examples.

The takeaway of most NAG-attendees: “absolutely valuable to share experiences in this kind of setting, necessary and very useful information and excellent examples and lessons learned which can be used in future tenders”.

“Winning tenders”; definitely an actual subject for a follow up session in 2022.
