On 14 -15 May, the NAG is organising a mission to Toulouse under the Partners for International Business (PIB) program Dutch ACES. The visit includes meetings with both Collins Aerospace and Airbus—two leading players in the global aviation industry. This mission highlights the Dutch aviation sector’s shared commitment to the core values of Dutch ACES: Aligned ambition, Creative solutions, Excellence in delivery and Sustainable aviation.
The program has been developed in close collaboration with the PIB cluster members and is designed to strengthen ties between the Dutch aviation ecosystem and its international counterparts.
On May 14, the delegation will visit Collins Aerospace, focusing on the theme Sustainable Aircraft Interiors. The session will explore how Dutch innovations can contribute to more sustainable aircraft cabins—emphasising material use, circularity and production efficiency.
On May 15, the group will visit Airbus, with a focus on Manufacturing Technologies for Composites. Discussions will revolve around how Dutch suppliers can support the industrialisation of composite applications, including automated production, assembly and non-destructive testing.
This mission builds on the strong foundation of PIB Dutch ACES, where Dutch companies and research institutions collaborate to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions in aircraft development.
