Personalised Airport Systems for Seamless Mobility and Experience (PASSME)
Dissemination of PASSME Results, Afternoon of February 12th , TU Delft
The PASSME project team cordially invites all NAG-members and all other interested parties to join them for this interesting workshop based on the breakthroughs of the PASSME project.
The four breakthroughs are:
- PASSENGER DEMAND FORECAST SYSTEM;
- LUGGAGE FLOWS;
- REDESIGNED PASSENGER-CENTRIC AIRPORT AND AIRPLANE INTERIORS;
- A PERSONALISED DEVICE AND SMARTPHONE APPLICATION.
The growth in air travel is not only a challenge for the airports, infrastructure and services industry but for society as a whole. The predicted growth to 25 million flights in 2050 calls for creative and innovative solutions to keep air travel a pleasant experience.
PASSME is a Horizon 2020 funded research project with the principal objective to reduce door-to-door air travel time by one hour (www.passme.eu).
PASSME researchers have investigated critical bottle necks in the airport experience, including luggage, security, mobility for those with disabilities and young children, boarding and overall passenger flow.
The workshop will be presented to you by Prof. Sicco Santema, Professor of Business to Business Marketing at TU Delft.
The results of the project are available for companies to use in practice.
