[POSTPONED] UK Market Update – Presentation of opportunities in Manufacturing and ADI

The Netherlands Government has commissioned a report into the aerospace (aircraft manufacturing and MRO) and aviation (airport development) sectors in the United Kingdom.  The study is aimed at the opportunities for the Dutch industry and knowledge institutes.  On Wednesday 25th March from 10:30 to 14:00, the study will be presented at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) in The Hague. RVO will also present the available instruments to support organisations who are planning to do business in the UK. In a recent questionnaire to Dutch Industry, the results showed that most respondents (from manufacturing, MRO and airport development) are positive about future business opportunities in the UK.  The growth in UK airport capacity could present opportunities for Dutch companies operating in the airport development sector.  There could also be opportunities for Dutch companies to bid (with UK partners) into R&T programmes.  The increase in aircraft build rates is likely to see the reshaping of supply chains.

The market study shows that the growth in the aerospace and aviation sectors in the UK offers opportunities for Dutch Industry. The briefing will discuss the market and the available instruments to support organisations planning to do business in the UK.
