Trade Mission China
Preparations are underway for a trade mission on airport development in China, taking place from 8 to 12 June 2026 in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The mission is organised by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) in collaboration with the Dutch diplomatic network in China and is open to NAG members active in airport development.
Opportunities in China
China continues to invest heavily in airport expansion to strengthen international connectivity and support sustainable development. This creates opportunities for companies working in airport sustainability, digitalisation, advanced aviation technologies, and lifecycle asset management.
Programme and engagement
The mission programme will include one-to-one matchmaking sessions, site visits, and meetings with key Chinese stakeholders. These activities are designed to help participants explore cooperation opportunities and gain insight into local procurement and development processes.
Sustainability focus
Sustainable airports are high on both the political and international agenda and remain a clear priority. This is an important consideration for companies when assessing alignment with their strategic ambitions.
Costs and participation
Participation costs €650 per company (excluding VAT) for one delegate, with an additional fee of €325 per extra participant. These fees cover the collective programme and local organisational support. Travel and accommodation costs are at participants’ own expense. The working language during the mission will be English.
Registration and selection
The registration deadline is 19 April 2026. Participation is limited and subject to selection based on the mission focus, so companies are encouraged to assess their interest and register in good time.
