Webinar Indonesia: Recovering Greener Together: Flying More Sustainably
The aviation sector is an important contributor to economic growth for both Indonesia and the Netherlands, being the backbone of various economic sectors such as tourism and logistics. Within the growth of these sectors, both countries are facing shared environmental challenges, such as emissions and waste. Airports and airlines are encouraged to catch-up with smart solutions and innovative technologies to solve these environmental challenges.
There are a lot of ways to a “greener” path, which both the Dutch and Indonesian aviation sectors have implemented. With a joint collaboration between governments, companies, and knowledge institutions, there are plenty of opportunities that both countries can explore to recover greener together, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic.
This event, organized by the Dutch Embassy in Indonesia, aims to gather Dutch and Indonesian aviation stakeholders and companies to review lessons learned in implementing sustainability efforts in both countries, and to discuss the industry outlook, along with potential collaboration in the future. The webinar will have a duration of 90 minutes, consisting of an opening presentation, followed by two panel discussions.
