On 1 October, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima will pay a working visit to Toulouse, in the French region of Occitanie. The visit highlights three strategic sectors where France and the Netherlands share strong ambitions: aerospace, floating offshore wind, and agri-tech.
Coinciding with the royal visit, an economic mission will take place from the evening of 30 September to 2 October. Dutch companies and knowledge institutions active in civil and military aerospace, agri-tech or floating offshore wind are invited to join. The mission is led by Ingrid Thijssen (VNO-NCW), with State Secretary for Foreign Trade Hanneke Boerma attending.
The mission begins on 30 September in the evening, followed by sector-specific programmes on 1 and 2 October. Return travel is possible on 2 or 3 October, depending on the programme.
This mission is organised by RVO, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Dutch Embassy in Paris, and NBSO Nantes. The Netherlands Aerospace Group (NAG) is closely involved in the aerospace programme, alongside partners including VNO-NCW, NIDV, FME and HHWE.
Registration closes on Thursday 31 July. After this date, individual matchmaking is no longer guaranteed.
Participation costs €950 per organisation (two participants included; each must register separately). Each additional participant costs €475. Travel, accommodation and transfers are at your own expense.
