Exploring Opportunities in the UK Aerospace and Airport Development Industry
Share news
The Dutch aerospace sector is looking to strengthen its presence in the United Kingdom. In collaboration with NBSO Manchester and RVO, NAG is preparing to organise a fact-finding mission to the UK in the week of 19 January 2026. This visit will offer Dutch companies direct insights into the UK market and potential partnerships in the fields of aerospace manufacturing, MRO and airport development.
The mission follows the presentation of the new market report United Kingdom – Airport Development and Aerospace Manufacturing Industry, introduced last Thursday by NBSO Manchester during a well-attended webinar. The report provides a comprehensive overview of current trends, key players and emerging opportunities within the UK’s aviation ecosystem.
The United Kingdom continues to play a leading role in global aviation. At the same time, the market is evolving rapidly. There is a strong focus on increasing production capacity through automation, adopting lightweight materials to support sustainability and accelerating the shift towards zero-emission flight. These developments come in a market facing ongoing growth, where airport capacity is under pressure and expansion is seen as essential.
The report highlights:
- Market structure and key industrial clusters
- Recent innovations and sustainability trends
- Main players in aerospace and aviation
- Routes to market and strategic entry points
Missed the webinar? A recording is temporarily available via this WeTransfer link (valid until 28 June). The full market report can be requested by emailing info@nbso-manchester.co.uk.
To move ahead with the mission, we need to gauge interest from our members. If your organisation is potentially interested in joining, please let us know by completing this short questionnaire
