Share news
From 29 June to 3 July 2025, the Netherlands Aerospace Group (NAG), together with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), will lead a trade mission to Malaysia focused on advancing innovation and sustainability in airport development.
Malaysia’s aviation sector is undergoing a dynamic transformation. Ambitious plans for airport expansion, digital modernization, and environmental responsibility are driving the evolution of both major hubs and emerging airports in the region. This mission offers a unique opportunity for Dutch companies to connect directly with key stakeholders shaping Malaysia’s airport landscape and to explore new commercial possibilities in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing aviation markets.
Participants will engage in high-level meetings with prominent organizations such as Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, the Ministry of Transport, and the Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM). They will also visit significant airport sites including Subang Airport, the main terminal at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), and Kuching International Airport in Sarawak. These site visits will provide an inside view of ongoing and future development projects.
The mission program includes detailed briefings on critical topics like airport ownership and governance structures, upcoming expansion and greenfield projects, ambitious decarbonization and net-zero initiatives, and the integration of smart digital systems to enhance airport management and operations.
This trade mission is designed for companies delivering solutions in sustainable airport design and construction, smart airport technologies, green energy and carbon reduction, aviation logistics, and digitalization including cybersecurity and data systems
If your company is ready to engage with Malaysia’s forward-looking airport sector and contribute to building the future of aviation infrastructure, this mission is your gateway.
