Introducing our new office manager Veerle Koenen

1. Can you tell us a bit about your background and experience?
For the last 10 years, I’ve been working as an office manager, HR administrator, and finance coordinator in completely different environments—commodities and cybersecurity. Although the main work is more or less the same, the fields are entirely different, each with its own challenges, ideas, and future outlooks.

2. What inspired you to join the NAG team?
I always enjoy exploring new (international) businesses and sectors.

When I saw the vacancy for Office & Finance Coordinator in this field, it felt like the perfect combination for me: a new industry, but meaningful work behind the scenes with a great team of experts.

3. What excites you most about your new role?

Aviation is a completely new experience for me! From what I understand so far, it’s a fast-moving and dynamic sector.

I always find it exciting to start in a new area of business—developing myself, getting to know the network better, and gaining more insight into this side of the aviation industry.

In this particular role, I also hope to deepen my knowledge in the finance area even further.

4. What do you hope to contribute?

What inspires me in this role is the combination of structure, reliability, and teamwork.

I hope to help grow and maintain a pleasant office atmosphere and be the go-to person for all office-related questions that aren’t directly about the core business—allowing the team to stay focused on their work.

5. What is one fun or interesting fact about yourself?

I used to fly with KLM Cityhopper as a cabin attendant for a few years!
