We are pleased to invite you to participate in the mission ‘Sustainable and Innovative Airport Development in Brazil’ (SIAD in Brazil), which will take place from Monday, 4 November to Friday, 8 November 2024. This mission, part of the Partners for International Business (PIB) program, offers a unique opportunity to promote Dutch expertise in sustainable and innovative airport development within the growing Brazilian market.
The PIB program, introduced in July 2011, supports clusters of Dutch companies in expanding internationally by combining private and public resources. It strengthens Dutch competitiveness and helps position Dutch companies on the global stage.
The mission focuses on the development of sustainable and innovative solutions for airports in Brazil. It is an excellent opportunity for Dutch companies to demonstrate their expertise and capture market share in this promising economy.
Mission Objectives
- Promote Expertise in Sustainable Airport Development
– Showcase and adapt the Dutch approach to sustainable and innovative airport development for the Brazilian market.
- Build Long-term Partnerships
Establish lasting business and institutional relationships between key stakeholders in both countries.
- Increase Market Presence
– Strengthen the Dutch position by capturing market opportunities and securing projects that contribute to long-term growth.
- Enhance Collaboration and Market Access
– Develop strategic connections with key decision-makers to improve access and influence in the Brazilian market.
- Support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
– Contribute to broader objectives, such as resilient infrastructure (SDG 9), economic growth (SDG 8), and inclusive urban development (SDG 11).
We encourage all interested parties to participate, as your involvement is crucial to the success of the mission and to strengthening the Dutch competitive position in Brazil. The mission is also open to non-members.

- All day – Meetings with ANAC / Ministry of Ports and Airports, INFRA S.A., Embassy
Tuesday, 5 November – Brasília
- 10:00 to 18:00 – Participation at ANM – Airport National Meeting 2024
- Coffee break sponsored by PIB SIAD
Wednesday, 6 November – Brasília / Porto Alegre / São Paulo
- Flights to/from Porto Alegre will be selected soon, POA airport is planned to be re-opened by 21 October
- Visit / Meeting with Fraport Brasil
Thursday, 7 November – São Paulo
- 09:30 – Meeting with AENA Brasil – Congonhas Airport Project
- 14:00 – Meeting with CCR Aeroportos Group

Participation Costs
The cost of participation is EUR 750,-, applicable to both NAG members and non-members. This fee covers participation in all mission activities and supports the collective objectives of the project.
