Mission PIB Brazil concluded with impactful results

The mission to Brazil, from 4 to 8 November 2024, as part of the Partners for International Business (PIB) program, concluded with significant results, fostering collaboration, innovation, and establishing meaningful connections. This initiative provided a unique opportunity to showcase Dutch expertise in sustainable and innovative airport development to the growing Brazilian market.

The week began with a reception at Infraero Brasil, followed by a meeting with ANAC that led to an agreement for a technical webinar. The day ended with a tour of Brasília and a dinner hosted by the Ambassador.

Tuesday focused on sustainability and resilience in the airport sector, with panels on ESG policies, governance, passenger experience and climate challenges.
Midweek, Dutch companies presented their propositions at Congonhas Airport in São Paulo, leading to discussions on aligning expertise with Aena Brasil’s development plans. The evening featured a networking dinner hosted by the Consulate of the Netherlands.

The final day included a technical meeting at São Paulo International Airport (GRU), where GRU’s team outlined key projects and Dutch companies showcased their solutions. These discussions paved the way for follow-up activities.

Throughout the mission, NAG supported the PIB Brazil initiative by identifying business opportunities for its members. The mission delivered tangible results, opening doors for impactful collaborations. We are proud to support our members and grateful to our partners for making this mission a success.
