NAG leads sustainable aviation mission to Paris
On November 15th, Frank Jansen, Managing Director of NAG Advancing your Aerospace and Airport Business, had the honour and pleasure to lead a Netherlands Enterprise Agency mission to Paris, exploring opportunities in sustainable aviation, with a focus on Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). The NAG believes that collaboration on this subject across our ecosystems is essential in order to achieve the EU’s carbon neutrality targets. The aim of the mission was to share best practices between France and the Netherlands and to foster current and future collaborations
During the three days of the mission, the delegation, comprising key players in the field, actively engaged with their French counterparts. The program included a round table co-organised by ASTech Paris Region on Sustainable Aviation Fuels, Climate & Innovation Cooperation between France and the Netherlands, a company visit to Safran, a business dinner, and several site visits. The mission was packed not only with extremely valuable meetings and discussions to further enhance collaborations and developments but also with energy and confidence towards a future outlook.
We believe the mission has been exceptionally valuable, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in France, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat, ASTech Paris Region, and the Dutch ecosystem. Together, we have made significant progress towards a more sustainable future in aviation.
