Groningen Eelde Airport
GEA was founded in 1931. In over three-quarters of a century, the northern airport has grown into a very complete and innovative international airport. The airport is an important regional hub for commercial, general aviation and medical air support. GEA contributes to sustainable aviation, amongst others by building an infrastructure for hydrogen and intends to showcase innovations with respect to lay-out and connectivity in the ‘cabin of the future’. CH-Aero B.V. is specialised in aircraft weight and balance services and the sale of top-notch equipment. With approximately 300 weighings conducted worldwide each year, we ensure that engineers responsible for crucial weighing and balancing tasks within the maintenance team, receive comprehensive training through our esteemed CH-Aero Academy. CH-Aero B.V. offers de-refuel service and has successfully launched the innovative Aircraft Remote Service. Excitingly, we are actively involved in the development of the groundbreaking ‘Zero Emmi’ platform, collaborating with universities and partners in the aviation industry to research solutions that reduce aircraft weight in relation to emissions.
