From 19-25 June, the Paris Airshow took place with more then 30 Dutch businesses and research institutes on the Netherlands Pavilion. We had a great week with many interesting events, visits and networking opportunities. Read all about it in our recap! FIRST DAY | MONDAY 19 JUNE 2023
Finally… After 4 years we were back in Paris! Last show we were here was in 2019 and we worked really hard to create something beautiful again. We are very proud of our Netherlands Pavilion full of Dutch companies, research institutes and start-ups:

We started the Monday with a festive opening of the Netherlands Pavilion by the Ambassador Mr. Jan Versteeg and Vice Admiral Arie Jan de Waard. After the official opening, the ambassador did a tour across all participating companies.

Also the Vice Admiral visited some participants and was impressed by the VR Flight Simulator of the Electric Dragonfly of Hogeschool Inholland Delft. If you are curious about how to retrofit existing aircraft to electric, they can tell you everything about how this works for the Electric Dragonfly.
New member: Skyline Aviation B.V.
Today we signed a new member for the NAG at the Netherlands Pavilion! Stef Have signed the membership for Skyline Aviation B.V. We are very happy to have them on board. The head office of Skyline Aviation is located in Bosschenhoofd and they operate from their home base at Groningen Airport Eelde. They offer custom-made solutions for electronic warfare training, CAS training, target towing and radar calibration. More information on their website.
Meet & Great Philippine minsiter
At the end of the morning, there was a meet & greet at our pavilion with the Philippine minister of Trade: Pascual. Nice and good to meet each other in preparation for our event in Delft on June 29th.
Electric Flying Drinks!
We closed this first show day with an electrifying event. Together with the Electric Flying Connection (EFC) we hosted an exclusive Electriflying Drinks Event at our Netherlands Pavilion. This event was a distinctive opportunity for participants to converse and network with important figures in the realm of electric aviation. A great number of people came to join for networking drinks and to connect.
SECOND DAY | TUESDAY 20 JUNE 2023
A busy start of our second day at the Paris Airshow. Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management Mark Harbers visited the Netherlands Pavilion. He met several participants among which were ADSE, TU Delft, Inholland, Surface Treatment, Akzo Nobel and Maeve. He also received the famous NAG give-away: our limited edition Paris Airshow socks! He also had a short meeting with the Young NAG board who explained their vision on the future of aviation.
After that, chairman of “Duurzame Luchtvaarttafel” Lodewijk Asscher visited the Netherlands Pavilion as well and spoke to the participants. He also got our special edition socks

New member: VIBA
Today we signed another new member for the NAG at the Netherlands Pavilion! Kees Burger signed the membership for VIBA. We are very happy to have them on board. “Our goal is to reduce your total installation costs with cost efficient fastening solutions for your fastening and assembling challenges“. NL Innovation Networking Drinks
We closed this second day with NL Innovation Networking Drinks. DG Mr. Nijssen opened with a welcome. These networking drinks were made possible by the innovation attachés. With delicious appetizers and drinks it was a successful closing of the afternoon.
THIRD DAY | WEDNESDAY 21 JUNE 2023
We had a great start of our third day at the Paris Airshow. A group of participants joined us on a visit to Embraer. We thank Joao Taborda for welcoming us and the tour! It was a very interesting visit.

We also welcomed Airbus at the Netherlands pavilion to show them around and meet the Dutch participants.
Young NAG Take Over!
At the end of the afternoon, Young NAG took over the stand! Vice-chairman of the NAG Board Jan Verbeek gave a speech. Young NAG did a small tour and organized networking drinks for young (and older) people including inspiring presentations on the topic of sustainable aviation!
Dutch cocktail diner
In the evening, we had a Dutch cocktail diner at La Terrasse Du 7ème. Nice to share drinks and food and have some good conversations.
