At the 2025 Paris Air Show, the Netherlands Aerospace Group (NAG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Parque de Inovação Tecnológica (PiT), a leading technology and innovation hub based in São José dos Campos, Brazil. This agreement marks a valuable step toward enabling collaboration between the Dutch and Brazilian aerospace sectors.

The MoU establishes a framework for identifying and pursuing joint opportunities between NAG-members and PiT’s community of companies and research institutions. By aligning our ecosystems, the agreement aims to accelerate sustainable aerospace development, facilitate knowledge exchange, and open new business opportunities for both parties.

A Hub for Innovation and Industry
Parque de Inovação Tecnológica (PiT) is situated in the heart of Brazil’s aerospace capital, São José dos Campos—home to Embraer and a critical center for Brazilian aviation. PiT hosts a vibrant mix of over 150 organisations, including cutting-edge start-ups, research institutes, and global aerospace players such as Airbus and Honeywell.

PiT is more than just a physical space; it is a collaborative environment where innovation is nurtured through open exchange and joint development. The park’s focus areas include aerospace, defence, advanced manufacturing, and sustainability—making it a natural fit for NAG’s ambitions in international collaboration and sustainable aviation.

Why This MoU Matters
For NAG and its members, this partnership opens doors to one of Latin America’s most dynamic aerospace clusters. By building bridges with PiT, NAG aims to:

  • Facilitate direct connections between Dutch and Brazilian companies and R&D institutions
  • Support the co-development of sustainable aviation technologies
  • Encourage bilateral trade and investment in aerospace innovation
  • Strengthen NAG’s role as a global connector of the Dutch aerospace industry

With sustainability high on both countries’ aerospace agendas, the MoU sets the stage for long-term cooperation in areas such as novel propulsion, lightweight materials, and manufacturing.

We look forward to translating this agreement into concrete actions and impactful partnerships in the coming months. NAG will continue to support its members in exploring international opportunities that drive innovation and strengthen our position in the global aerospace landscape.
