The Netherlands Pavilion at the Paris Air Show 2025 served as a powerful showcase of Dutch innovation, ambition, and both national and international collaboration. With over a dozen key announcements, high-level visits, and strategic partnerships forged, a clear message emerged: the Dutch aerospace sector is ready to lead—through cooperation, pride in national capabilities, and a bold commitment to sustainability.
From the opening address by senior government and defense officials to MoUs with major industry players and international innovation hubs, the Pavilion demonstrated that progress in aerospace requires alignment between government, industry, and education. Leaders such as Lieutenant General André Steur, State Secretary for Defense Gijs Tuinman, and representatives from the Ministries of Economic Affairs, Defence and Infrastructure and Water Management echoed a shared vision: it’s time for the Netherlands to step forward with confidence, scale its capabilities, and actively shape the future of global aerospace.
Key milestones included:
- The MoU between Conscious Aerospace, KLM, and Transavia—a significant leap toward zero-emission aviation.
- NAG’s entry into the Airbus Tech Hub—symbolizing deepening integration into the global aerospace innovation landscape.
- Strategic engagement with Embraer and the signing of a cooperation MoU with PiT in Brazil, reinforcing international ties and opening doors to joint development opportunities.
- The rebranding of Park Aviolanda to Hive Aerospace Collective, signaling a renewed identity rooted in collaboration and scale.
In parallel, Young NAG’s engagement throughout the fair underlined the importance of empowering the next generation of aerospace professionals, while visits by Embraer-X, Dassault Systemes and RTX and the planning of future workshops hinted at new innovations still to come.
Across all events, one common outcome emerged: the Netherlands is cultivating a resilient, future-proof aerospace ecosystem—one that embraces international collaboration, sustainability, and technological leadership as its pillars.
The NL Pavilion was more than just a presence at the fair; it was a platform for partnerships, a catalyst for dialogue, and a launchpad for the next chapter in Dutch aerospace.
The conversations don’t end here. The momentum continues.
