Trade Mission to Portugal opens many doors for both the Dutch and the Portuguese

Last Tuesday saw the start of the State Visit to Portugal.
23 airports- and aerospace companies will be accompanying the King and Queen on an economic side mission.

The NAG has set up match making sessions for a large part of these companies, drafted the program for these sectors and worked closely with national and local representations on making this visit a success.

The Dutch press has also picked up on the importance of the state visit and the impact on the Dutch High Tech industry. National newspapers as De Volkskrant, De Telegraaf and Het Algemeen Dagblad have covered the topic. Regional Newspapers saw interviews with local participants to the Trade Mission.

On the morning of departure NAG’s Managing Director, Frank Jansen, gave a live interview to Business News Radio – BNR. Explaining the importance of the presence of the Royal couple for doing business and promoting the Aviation sector and its impact on economy and society as whole.

These days the Economic Mission will see visits to the OGMA facilities, the Embraer plant and to the Lisbon Airport.
