Trade Mission To Portugal 10-12 October 2017
From October 10th to October 12th His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima will pay a state visit to the Portuguese Republic at the invitation of President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
Alongside this state visit a trade mission, headed by the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, will be organised. One of the two sectorial themes of the trade mission is the Dutch aerospace- and airport sector.The trade mission is organised by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency – RVO.nl in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The NAG is the official partner for the Aerospace and Airport mission program and match making.
Program
For the program we will work closely with our Portuguese counterpart – PEMAS. PEMAS participates in both national and international projects and is based upon a close cooperation with the aerospace supply chain systems integration companies. The members combined turnover exceeds 1.100M€ and represents over 13,500 direct highly specialized jobs working on different areas of expertise in the academic, research and industrial fields.
Some of the activities that are on the provisional agenda include visits to ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal, the production facility of Embraer in Évora and OGMA – a large worldwide player in the aerospace MRO and manufacturing business. The Royal couple shall be present during some parts of the program.
