WHAT IS AERO ENGINE FORUM BIRMINGHAM?

AEF Birmingham is a supply chain event that brings together engine and first-tier, systems makers with the entire aerospace supply chain. Engineering, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, commodity teams, suppliers and service providers will meet through pre-arranged one-on-one meetings. The AEF Birmingham is proudly supported by Rolls Royce, Moog and UTC Aerospace.

On day one AEF Birmingham will feature a major international conference coordinated by Midlands Aerospace Alliance. Prominent engine makers and first-tier companies will explain what technologies and capabilities they need from their suppliers today and tomorrow.

On days two and three engineering, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, commodity teams, suppliers and service providers will meet through pre-arranged one-on-one meetings. All participants will be able to sign up, identify and request meetings with relevant contacts prior to the event. Schedules of meetings, based on those choices, will be pre-arranged. The one-on-one meetings will be held at the same venue.

AEF Birmingham is not a traditional exhibition. It’s a matchmaking program for manufacturers, OEMs and subcontractors to interact and develop business in the UK. Bringing together the entire supply chain, this b-to-b event is a unique opportunity to exchange, reflect and build up targeted business relations with targeted meetings, exchanges and high-level conferences between innovative contractors, OEMs, subcontractors and suppliers from the aerospace industry.
