Invitation: JIPAS and Holland Instrumentation HI-Tea at InHolland Delft (27 November 2017)

The aerospace industry is one of the most successful high-tech industry clusters of West Holland. Companies in air transport, aeronautics, space and drones are going through rapid growth cycles. These high growth rates are important drivers for these companies to transfer from manual-based manufacturing to robotized and digitized ‘smart manufacturing’. A need for high-tech knowledge in area’s such as automation, sensor systems, robotics and big data knowledge is the logical consequence. That’s why the Joint Industry Program for Aero-Space (JIPAS) has decided to merge with the high tech network of West Holland: Holland Instrumentation (HI).

HI is proud to be including the aero-space network to its high tech network. On Monday the 27th of November from 16:00 we will celebrate this with a HI-Tea event. Theme of this networking event is the readying of the aero-space sector to smart manufacturing concepts. We will be hosted by the aerospace faculty of InHolland, Delft.

Program
16:00 Walk-In
16:30 Welcome
André Boer, Chairman Holland Instrumentation
16:35 Design and build of autonomous unmanned aircraft in larger volumes
Start-ups in this field are often confronted with the need for implementing smart manufacturing concepts. Does implementing these cutting edge technologies really help to remain competitive?
Sander Hulsman, CEO ATMOS UAV
16:50 How does smart manufacturing contribute to lowering costs in space related project?
Maarten Schippers, Industrialization Manager, Airbus DS/NL
17:05 One of the flagship developments of the aerospace ‘Flying High agenda’ and supported by the JIPAS activities is the development of a CADC (Composite Automation Development Centre). How will this contribute to the strengthening of the high tech ecosystem in this region?
Kjelt van Rijswijk, TU Delft
17:20 Official integration of JIPAS in Holland Instrumentation by André Boer (Chairman HI) and Maarten Schippers (Chairman of JIPAS). To mark this event the handing over of the results of both the ‘Flying High agenda’ and the JIPAS program, to the representative of the province South-Holland, Mrs. Bom-Lemstra and alderman Ferry Foster of the city of Delft
