NAG & FLAG: Netherlands & Flanders Networking Meeting
Cross-border encounter on hydrogen in aviation
Inter-Cluster event Agoria-FLAG, NAG and WaterstofNet on 3 September 2021
On Friday September 3rd, WaterstofNet, Agoria-FLAG and the NAG are organising a networking event, with focus on hydrogen in aviation, at Breda Airport. The B2B will be hosted by the European Enterprise Network (EEN). Participation is free. This networking event is for all members of Netherlands Aerospace Group, Flemish Aerospace Group, Waterstofnet/Waterstof Industrie Cluster and for companies interested in the Aeronautical sector and Hydrogen Technology. Besides networking a special topic that will be addressed, the opportunities of Hydrogen in aviation. There is a rising interest within the aerospace sector for sustainable alternatives; hydrogen is seen as one of the possible options for low or zero emission propulsion for the aircrafts of the future. This is your opportunity to network and (re-)connect with companies and future partners on a wide range of topics. You can sign up on the event website of EEN.
Both in Flanders and in the Netherlands many innovative companies are active in aerospace. In Flanders those are all united in the company cluster the Flemish Aerospace Group active under the umbrella of Agoria. In the Netherlands the NAG (Netherlands Aerospace Group) represents 95% of the companies active within the aerospace sector. Agoria-FLAG and WaterstofNet have recently announced to establish a collaboration on hydrogen. WaterstofNet is an organisation that develops projects focussed on implementation of hydrogen in transport, energy and industry, and coordinates the Waterstof Industrie Cluster with members in Flanders and the Netherlands.
This was sufficient reason, together with the positive developments of the pandemic, to organize a physical workshop with B2B-matchmaking which aims to connect companies across borders, in particular on new innovations leading to sustainable aviation. The workshop will be hosted by Breda International Airport (https://en.breda-airport.eu/).
