NAG-LRN Competence Pitch Session – Aircraft Manufacturing Industry (Members only)
Over the past period, NAG-LRN visited and spoke with 43 parties across the Dutch aircraft manufacturing industry. One thing became very clear: the Netherlands has an impressive base of competencies, facilities, products and technologies. At the same time, many recent developments, investments and innovations are not yet sufficiently visible within the ecosystem.
Do we actually know enough about what each of us can do, what has been developed and built over the past years, and where concrete links exist between parties in our ecosystem?
Across almost all conversations, three needs were mentioned repeatedly:
- Greater visibility of competencies within the Netherlands
- A stronger role in the ecosystem and value chain
- Continued innovation by finding each other faster and more effectively
This is why NAG-LRN is organizing the first Competence Pitch Session for the Aircraft Manufacturing Industry.
Why participate?
This session is not a general networking event and not a “50 years of NAG” retrospective. The focus is fully on substance.
What can you offer today?
What do you want to be able to offer in 3–5 years?
And who or what are you looking for to get there?
In one morning, you will get a clear overview of the NAG-LRN ecosystem related to the Dutch aircraft manufacturing industry. You will learn what other parties are working on, what has recently been developed, and where this may connect to your own organization.
The goal is simple:to help parties find each other faster for potential collaboration, innovation, customer-supplier relations, joint propositions, test cases, demonstrators and international opportunities.
Each participating organization will have one slide and a strict maximum of two minutes to show which competencies, facilities, products, technologies or development directions are relevant for others in the sector.
Follow-up by NAG-LRN
The input from this session will also be used for further NAG-LRN activities, including:
- the Growth Plan for the Dutch Aircraft Manufacturing Industry, following up on the Strategic Aerospace Compass;
- stronger connections between companies, knowledge institutes and projects;
- sharper and more targeted international representation towards OEMs and Tier 1s;
- preparation for missions and trade fairs, including ILA Berlin in the context of PIB Dutch Aces;
- further activities to make Dutch competencies more visible, relevant and strategically positioned.
In other words: this session is a substantive starting point for a broader approach that NAG-LRN will continue to develop in the coming period. This need was raised by many parties; now is the moment to turn it into concrete action together.
