webinar Young NAG "The future aircraft ecosystem"

We would like to invite you to the first Young NAG event of 2024. We will host a webinar on The future aircraft ecosystem on May 16th between 16:00-17:30. You will receive a teams link after you have signed up. From Young NAG member feedback in 2023, we understood there was a request to be able to deliver a shared result rather than just listening in. That is why we have set up a workshop that will contribute to this.

The program of the webinar is as follows:                                                            

- Introduction by Young NAG and the new Young NAG Community

- 5 minute pitches about “disruptive technologies”:

• Presentation by Douglas Costa, Lead Propulsion Systems Engineer at Vaeridion "Battery Electric"' 
• Presentation by Joseph  Michaels, Junior Operations Manager Conscious Aerospace "Hydrogen electric"

- Interactive session: “Generating a sustainable aircraft initiatives global map” à On a Miro board, we will all add the organisations currently developing zero emission aircraft to a world map. - Interactive session: “Inventory of Future aircraft building processes” à On a Miro board, we will all add to the components and processes needed for zero emission aircraft. We aim to visualize the disruptive technologies and organisations needed to develop these aircraft. Questions include the differences in components between existing aircraft and new sustainable aircraft, and the steps required from project initiation to a certified aircraft (process, organisation, design steps, etc.).

- Open discussion and questions.
