NAG's General Assembly

On Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 12.15 to 18.30, our next General Assembly (ALV) takes place. The theme of the ALV will be “Blockchain, what will it bring to the aerospace and airport industry?”

We are pleased that the Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM) will host this meeting at Breda International Airport, Bredasebaan 3 in Bosschenhoofd.

SEGMENT MEETINGS
Just like previous General Members Assemblies, we offer you the opportunity to discuss current topics with colleagues within your segment. The segment meetings will last 90 minutes and provide an open environment for exchange of thoughts in an inspiring set-up. If issues of specific interest come up during the discussions, additional meetings can be organized to continue the discussion.

AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT & INFRASTRUCTURE
During this session we will start the discussion about the blockchain examples that were given in the General  Members Assembly. In particular we will focus on the practical implications of blockchain for Airport Development & Infrastructure and your organization. 
A main topic that will be addressed next in this session is “joint market development”. For the Airport Development segment we see many opportunities but also challenges when it comes to a collaborative market approach. Gerik ten Berge (HorYzoN) will present examples of successful joint market development in other sectors as inspiration for a discussion.
AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE
Also here we will continue the discussion about blockchain but then focused on the practical implication for Aircraft Maintenance.
Dimitri van Rijn (Ministry of Economic Affairs) will give an update on the Industrial Partnership opportunities as a result of Dutch Defense projects. This mechanism can also be very beneficial for MRO companies inThe Netherlands. Auke Nouwens (ADSE) has participated in the sessions about the latest MRO market developments at the MRO Europe. He will give an overview of his findings which will lead to a discussion about the consequences for our members.

AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURING
For this segment we will also discuss the concrete consequences of blockchain.

Tineke Bakker-van der Veen (Boeing) is going to present the latest relevant organizational structure of Boeing. This will give you information about your right entry into the Boeing organization. Tineke will also address Boeing HorizonX, a new organization for new business ventures to unlock the next generation of game-changing ideas, products,and markets.

We recommend you choose the segment meeting which matches with the main activity of your company. Of course it is also possible to participate in the meeting of another segment. If your company is interested in participating in multiple sessions, feel free to sign up your colleagues.
