The runway for MRO – where are we now and where do we want to go
We would like to invite you for the meeting "The runway for MRO - where are we know and where do we want to go?", organized by the Special Interest Group MRO, on November 28th from 10:00 – 14:30. We are pleased to inform you that we will be the guest of Royal NLR in Amsterdam.
Theme/background
With the Special Interest Group MRO we have been working on a concept roadmap MRO in recent months. What did we do?
- We sent out a survey to the NAG-members for this;
- We conducted a number of interviews;
- In addition, students of the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam will conduct interviews during the MRO Europe in Amsterdam
Purpose
- To realize a roadmap aviation MRO. In this roadmap, both the short term with the existing aircraft and the long term with new types of aircraft such as electric or hydrogen-powered platforms are given a place. Make sure that MRO is directly involved and already part of the complete life-cycle development of (new)production aircraft. The focus of the meeting is primarily on our own industry. However, in order to facilitate learning from other industries that are more advanced in the implementation of smart MRO strategies and innovations, several cross-sectoral examples will be discussed as well
- Based on a roadmap with developments for the short, medium and long term, SMEs + large companies can better respond to the expected developments and see how they can work together with others
Target audience
- For this meeting we mainly invite SMEs working in the field of MRO, but large companies are of course also welcome!
