Improving Quality (IQ) cluster 2022

We would like you to invite you for the meeting of the Improving Quality (IQ) cluster on Tuesday the 8th of November, 2022 from 9:30 – 16:00. We are pleased to inform you that we will be the guest of GKN Aerospace in Papendrecht.

Improving Quality (IQ) Cluster
Once a year, the NAG organizes a network meeting for everyone in the Aerospace & Airport Development sector who works in Quality. During these meetings, trending topics in the area of Quality Assurance will be addressed. Afterwards there will be the opportunity for discussion and networking.

Theme:
The theme of this meeting is: Knowledge Management (KM) in the context of Business Continuity. The following sub-themes will be addressed in the meeting:

  • KM (especially standardization) for Operational processes (advantages and disadvantages of certain methods for production, logistics)
  • KM for Management level processes (enterprise management, business development, etc.)
  • KM for Supporting and Non-recurring processes (engineering, process planning, project management) and which methodologies.

Target audience
Because of the theme, we invite not only quality workers and managers, but also HR, education and operations professionals to participate in this meeting.

             Business Line: What is Knowledge Management? How do you work with it
             as a company? Knowledge Management in context of the world around us

11:00    Presentation Jan Verbeek: How does Knowledge Management work for a
             non recurring environment? Engineering and other development work is
             often experience based so how do you get from a standard to practice?
             What are the processes? How do you address knowledge in relation to
             competencies?

11.45    Presentation Ton Gerrits, Training with Industry (TWI): Skills management.
             How do Train operators/mechanics, 1 to 1 in specific technical skills,
             relevant for production, maintenance & repair and measurements?

Costs
The NAG will not charge any costs for participating NAG members. For non-NAG members the price is €250,- (ex VAT) per participant which will be returned in case of becoming a member in 2022.
